Nairobi is hosting the 14th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, expecting over seven thousand delegates. We’re excited to be part of these important discussions specifically around fashion, crafts, music, digital media and the arts through our Creative Economy event. Together with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Hivos East Africa, Forum Syd, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the East Africa Trade and Investment Hub, we are hosting guided conversations on the afternoons of the 19th and 20th of July seeking to amplify the contributions of the creative economy and industries towards the achievement of equitable, inclusive and sustainable development in Kenya and East Africa.
